It’s the Monday before Christmas and all through the town, not an elf is still sleeping. They are all half crazed now! It’s been a fun holiday season with parties and cheer. I’m trying to decide if I should bake again this year? Good luck with final shopping and remember to smile — Santa only comes around once in a great while!
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas! I love the whole experience of the holidays starting with Thanksgiving (where I eat ’til I drop) and rolling right through Christmas. What really gets me cheerful are holiday lights…lots and lots of them.

Lighthouses. This summer was an unexpected tour of these bastions to seafaring days. I have always had a wistful, melancholic love of these beauties. Their beacon of light shines hope, safety, caution, direction to all who pass by. Come, let me share some with you…
