Tomorrow, April 30, is Independent Bookstore Day. Be sure to get out and support your local bookstore.

After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at age eleven, books were my escape. They took me away from pain and allowed me to do and be things I physically could no longer do or be.

I recently discovered mystery author Jacqueline Winspear of the Maisie Dobbs series because of a talk she gave at our local, independent bookstore.
