Sierra Madre, Hello 1950’s!
On a rather average Saturday afternoon, Spaceman and I took a trip down highway 210 and exited to Sierra Madre, hello 1950’s! I have mentioned this town in a previous post here, but it is worth a more in-depth exploration as 2015 has been a tough start and I wanted to turn back the clock for a moment to when things sounded better…and I heard there was a good ice cream shop there.
The Hummingbird’s Tongue is 18 Inches Long…What?!
Memorial Day, a Time for Reflection
The Road to Sedona Via Cottonwood, AZ
Alas, my week of celebrating wedded bliss via my anniversary is coming to a close…but not before discussing a great meal find on the road to Sedona via Cottonwood, Arizona. Hidden in a little house on the outskirts of Main Street Cottonwood lies Abbie’s Kitchen. Fiji for Lovers
Love is in the air…or at least in my house as this is our anniversary week. Yes, I have decided to keep celebrating our anniversary for the entire week here at the blog! I suppose everyone is biased to their own wedding, but I really did have the best time at my wedding…no stress, just fun. After a wonderful celebration, Spaceman and I continued our party in Fiji, first up: The Lalati Resort & Spa.
Road Trip Snack Bag

Since I am not willing to share Spaceman, and travel is subjective, I am going to share with you three staples for a perfect Road Trip Snack Bag.
The Selfie
The selfie, it is the new extension of ourselves. We take it to share our (referring to the collective “our”) exciting adventures, life moments, or just to brag. There is even the selfie stick to help the situation for those of us who don’t have full arm extension, and all sorts of filters to use before “sharing” the pictures with others. However, I think Spaceman and I may be missing something about this engaging art form…yes?
Lessons Learned from Mom, Happy Mother’s Day!
In honor of Mother’s Day, I have decided to pour a stiff drink and share some wisdom I’ve learned from my mom.
Arches National Park, Utah…Road Trip!
“June gloom” has engulfed today with its clouds. This has made me reflect on sunnier days…specifically a girls’ trip I took to Moab, Utah to visit Arches National Park.
