The temperature in my town today was quickly reaching up to touch the toes of the 90 degree Fahrenheit mark. I was longing to take a bike ride, but in that heat I would certainly melt so instead I harkened back to the time Spaceman and I visited the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis, CA.

Sierra Madre, Hello 1950’s!
On a rather average Saturday afternoon, Spaceman and I took a trip down highway 210 and exited to Sierra Madre, hello 1950’s! I have mentioned this town in a previous post here, but it is worth a more in-depth exploration as 2015 has been a tough start and I wanted to turn back the clock for a moment to when things sounded better…and I heard there was a good ice cream shop there.
