It’s my birthday and I am feeling a bit “goofy” which brought me back to a delicious spot to eat on the island of Oahu in Hawaii near Honolulu, Goofy Cafe & Dine.

Mai Tai Drinker, or Not?
Some people can drink and some people, well, can’t. My husband (beloved Spaceman) hopelessly falls into the latter category. He swears he is better at handling a drink (as in one drink because more than one is risky…for everyone!) when he has had food. Um, really? I’d like to present exhibit A: my birthday celebration at the Mai Tai Bar at The Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki, Hawaii, and let you decide: Mai Tai drinker, or not?
Frozen Bananas, Balboa Island, and Birthdays
It was just my birthday and to my delight my husband took me to the happiest place on earth! No, not Disneyland…Sugar and Spice the frozen banana stand on Balboa Island in Newport Beach. If you have not been here yet, I suggest you run (not walk) to it and grab your treat.
